Mr. Yip co-founded Malvern College, Qingdao in 2012, bringing the best of UK boarding school education to China. He has served as the Executive Vice-principal of the school, managing the school’s non-academic operations. He is also one of the members of the college’s executive management board, providing guidance on the operation of the school.
Before working in the field of Education, Mr. Yip had worked in the renowned management consulting company, McKinsey and Company for 11 years. He joined the firm in 2000 as a Business Analyst and was an Associate Partner of the firm’s Greater China Office. Mr. Yip had worked and led over 50 projects in Hong Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia. He has significant experience working for the Governments and quasi-government organisations on issues including strategic planning, operations improvement, merger and acquisition, stakeholder management and others. Mr. Yip has also conducted extensive research on talent development trends in Asia.
Mr. Yip was educated in the UK since he was 14. He received his Master of Engineering degree from the Oxford University.
