Tom Murray studied politics and Spanish before moving into secondary humanities teaching, specializing in history. CELTA qualified, he also has experience teaching EAL, including in China. As a secondary teacher in the UK he has taught GCSE and A-levels in history, global politics and philosophy.
He believes that through enquiry-based learning we can best equip students with the skills and knowledge to achieve success in the humanities. He is also interested in cognitive psychology and the insights it offers us into how to teach and learn effectively.
