The Annual MCC Charity Day! This year\u2019s Charity Day was organized by the teachers and students of the primary school\u2019s Confucius House. Students donated all the money raised from the charity sale to the China Social Welfare Foundation\u2019s \u201cFree Lunch for Children\u201d campaign.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Early on the morning of 29 October, the library lobby was bustling. Parents of Malvern College Chengdu primary school\u2019s PTA helped make the event possible, from purchasing supplies and delivering them to the school, to arranging the set-up. A colorful, warm, and loving charity day was born!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The charity sale was divided into six areas: building blocks, mystery boxes, stationery, beverages, snacks, candies, and desserts. Not only did this capture our students\u2019 interests, but it was also a lot of fun. Students dressed up in festive costumes and took part in this charitable event. Taking food safety concerns into consideration, the PTA helped the children provide meals at the \u201chot food station\u201d, including hot food, desserts, beverages, and ensured everything was clean and hygienic.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
