Every Monday, students in MCC represent their houses by delivering keynote presentations that vary every week. This week Aston House students presented on the topic of “human rights”.

After the presentation, we had the Prefects Induction. Malvern College Chengdu has been insisting on providing unlimited possibilities for students’ development. Such an idea is inherited from our parent school MCUK. We strive to ensure that our students’ education is original, so that the students of MCC will be able to seamlessly connect to study and life in University.

Next, the four Housems revealed and awarded the best student leaders in the last week.

 “Student of the week” was awarded to Dorothy, a student in U5. “Student of the week” means that the student has exhibited excellent behavior, attitude to study and boarding over the week.

At weekly assembly, the whole student body look forward to the results of the House competition; a weekly competition where the cumulative performance of students in each house are measured against each other to determine which house has performed best as a group.

Last semester, MCC launched the ‘Study Partners Scheme’ and continued to execute it this semester. Therefore, in this assembly senior students were divided into three groups and Buddy Ambassadors were established to help the new students who joined MCC in September to adapt quickly to his/her study and boarding life.
