University of Cambridge’s Interview Invitation Is Right On Time

Bill Yang, an MCC 2022 graduate, received the first interview invitation from the University of Cambridge. This is also the first interview invitation of this year’s college application season for Chengdu, and it came from Cambridge’s Computer Science Department.

At the same time, Bill also received Chengdu’s first written exam invitation from the Artificial Intelligence Department at Imperial College London.

In addition to Bill’s exciting news, his classmate Desmond Kuang has already secured a conditional offer from the Department of Economics at The University of Warwick and has also taken the University of Cambridge’s Economics written exam and is now awaiting an interview invitation.

First Invitation: University of Cambridge Computer Science Department Interview Invitation

As one of the world’s top universities, the University of Cambridge has been continuously ranked in the top 10 of all authoritative rankings. It is the dream school of countless students. Cambridge ranked 5th in The Time’s Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, 3rd in the QS World University Rankings 2022, 6th in the Guardian World Rankings 2022 for Computer Science, and 2nd in the UK.

Second Invitation: Imperial College London Artificial Intelligence Department Written Exam Invitation

Imperial College London has established London in 1907 and is one of the world’s leading public research universities. The school’s full name is Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. As an international leader in academics, Imperial College London is one of the most innovative universities and continuously places in the world’s Top 10 of various prestigious rankings. In the 2022 QS World University Rankings, Imperial College London ranked 7th in the world and 3rd in the UK for Computer Science.

Imperial College London Artificial Intelligence Department Application Requirements:

A-Level:A*A*A (mathematics A*)

IELTS: Total score 6.5 (with no score below 6.0)

Additional Entrance Exams: CTMUA/CSAT

Application to Admission Ratio: 20:1 (2020 admissions data)

Written Exam and Interview: Prospective applicants will be invited to take a 90-minute written exam designed to test the applicant’s logic, evidence-finding, and problem-solving skills. Written exam results are considered when determining whether an applicant will progress to the interview stage.
