The first Colour Run in Malvern College Chengdu was held on November 18th. On this day, students went to the Colour Run with their parents, relatives and friends, some of whom also formed the teams which participated in the run.

The Colour Run was divided into individual and group competitions. The individual competition was a   test of speed and endurance over a distance of 5 kilometres.

(In addition,) the competition between teachers and students in the individual competition was also very interesting.

Finally, the champion in the individual competition was John Pu from U6; in second place was Alex Guo from U5, and in third place was Ms. Fitzherbert.

The exciting group competition took place straight after the individual competition. Teams competed over a distance of 2.2 kilometers. Each group had 5 participants which also included teachers and parents. Finally, the team which consisted of Lily, Morton, Charles, Andy and Solar, won the MCC colour run team event .

The first colour run ended on a high note after an eventful and fun filled day.  We sincerely hope all students enjoyed running together with friends and family.

In the future, MCC will also hold more action-packed activities. We hope we will be able to meet one another again very soon.
