MCC Annual Review in 2017

Over the past year, Malvern College Chengdu has accomplished many remarkable achievements which give a lot of memorable moments to students and parents.

JANUARY

On January 12th, Alistair Zhang in L6, as a CEO to establish his first business team and promote the development of their own “heartful painting APP”.

In January 17th, the martial arts club was born in Malvern.

FEBRUARY

On February 14th, the students gathered together with their parents and teachers to enjoy a big “family meeting” -the Lantern Festival event.

On February 20th, Malvern science classrooms encouraged students to a participate actively on their own.

Malvern biological classroom pays attention to cultivating students’ practical ability.

MARCH

The Mathematics Department organized Pi Week  in order to instruct the students to use mathematical symbols redesigned the eleven spirits of Malvern.

APRIL

Malvern’s Arbor Day.

MAY

In the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing(CEMC) math contest, the students in L6, U5 and L5  all scored the top 100 in the world.

Malvern weekend’s life is various and colorful. For example, sometimes, the students came to the panda base as volunteers.

JUNE

The second session of the Chinese British headmasters’ forum kicked off on June 15th.

The annual Prize Giving was on June 18th. It is the most important event for public schools in the UK.

JULY

Malvern’s summer internship was organized and presided over by the students themselves.

 

AUGUST

The summer camp opened on the August 20th.

SEPTEMBER

“Fire earthquake escape exercise” in MCC.

OCTOBER

Malvern College UK visited MCC in October 30th, and evaluated the classes which also gave a lot of helpful recommendations to teachers in MCC.

NOVEBER

Students went to Jiuding mountain for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The first Malvern colour run was held on November 18th.

50 students in Malvern College Chengdu attended the Australian mathematics competition, and some students achieved remarkable results.

 

DECEMBER

Within two years in Malvern College Chengdu, U6 students have received many offers from the Top 100 universities in the world.
