The third destination of MCC summer internship is Zhonghao Law Firm (Sichuan) office,

where students spent three days learning legal knowledge and experienced being a lawyer.

The internship began with exposure to basic law knowledge on July 17th.

“You are the first high school interns we received.

I am glad to see that you have been exposed to different industries since high school and have an early plan for the future”,

said Mr. Wang Fei, Director & Partner of Zhonghao Law Firm(Sichuan).

Then, Mr. Wang shared with students the definition of being a lawyer, the status of the law profession and the characteristics of the profession of lawyers.

Ms. Chai, the Deputy Director & Partner of Zhonghao Law Firm(Sichuan) shared some of the interesting cases

she met with students during the second lesson.

In the afternoon, Ms. Li, Deputy Director & Partner of Zhonghao Law Firm(Sichuan) shared the work value of lawyers via several famous cases.

A mock court was arranged as part of the internship, therefore, on July 18th,

the interns were divided into groups for legal retrievals and pre-court information.

In the afternoon of July 19th, a case of hotel contract dispute was formally held in the training room in Zhonghao Law Firm.

The two-hour mock court helped students to gain a preliminary understanding of the case hearing process.

Our students also had a brief thought exchange with the lawyer team.

Although we cannot learn much of the legal knowledge due to time limitation,

Ms. Chai hoped this internship would be helpful for their future career choice.
